Famed Century Old Ship "Sava's Titanic" Emerges Amid Drought in Europe The Sava River in Serbia has revealed a century old shipwreck, dubbed "Sava's Titanic," as the continent grapples with an unprecedented drought.

The rusting hull of the Slovenian, once a steam tugboat that plied the Danube during World War I and II, has resurfaced from the shrinking waters.

The ship's history is one of resilience, having survived two world wars before meeting its demise in 1945. Built in Budapest during the Austro Hungarian Empire, it later changed hands to Yugoslavia after World War I.
