The Polish Connection at the Sarajevo Film Festival Paweł Pawlikowski's return to the Sarajevo Film Festival marks a triumphant homecoming for the Polish director.
His latest film, Fatherland , which concludes his Cold War trilogy, will open the 32nd edition of the festival on August 14th.
Pawlikowski's connection to Sarajevo dates back to the early days of the festival, when his documentary Serbian Epics (1992) was screened.
