A Welcome Detente: The USS Lincoln's Port Call in Thailand The arrival of the USS Abraham Lincoln and its crew in Pattaya, Thailand, marks a welcome respite from the long and arduous deployment to the Middle East.

For over 260 days, the ship and its crew supported U. S. operations against Iran, facing mental health concerns and logistical challenges.

As the crew disembarked in Pattaya, they were eager to leave their duties behind and indulge in some much needed rest and relaxation.
